Get into the festive spirit at The Duke’s 2023 Christmas Market, back for its second year running! From a range of local independent stalls, to kids puppet shows, ceramic painting, choir performance, mulled wine and the legendary Leytonstone Tavern Food Truck, we’ve got it all waiting just for you !

Plus gab your perfect Christmas tree - all sizes available with a donation to one of our partner charities included with every purchase. This year we are proud to be supporting a number of local initiatives including;

The Duke X E11 Kindness Community Outreach Programme - Christmas Dinner provisions for people in need locally

Tin In A Bin - A local food network of 50+ donation points who collect food to be distributed to 9 different food banks and charities focussing on the most needy in Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Newham.

The Wanstead Charity - Volunteer initiative supporting the homeless in East London.

Wanstead High School PTA - Parent Teachers Association working to build a better Wanstead High.

Choose where your money goes and help us make a difference this winter. We will also be fundraising throughout the day at the market, including through our own community action stall.

Running order of activities;

12:00 - 18:00 Independent Stalls Market

12:00 - 17:00 Creative Biscuit Ceramic Painting (all ages. prices vary)

12:30 - 13:30 Story Time and Crafts with Katie from The Pink Potato Club (3 - 6 yrs)

14:00 - 14:30 Puppet Show & Balloon Making (1)

15:15 - 15:45 Puppet Show & Balloon Making (2)

16:15 - 17:15 Festive Choir

Take a stroll down Nightingale Lane on Saturday 9th December, and join in the fun between 12:00 - 18:00. Pub open as normal - please book a table in advance.
